The product range offered by our experienced team includes;

1. Anodising

  • Clear and colour anodizing with a wide range of colours available (see colour chart)
  • Matt (also known as etch), Bright and Semi-Bright finishes are also available

2. Conversion - Chromate
Chromate conversion (also known as "Alochrome", "Alodine" "Aluminium Passivation" "Yellow Chromate" "Clear Chromate") is a chemical treatment process that converts the surface of aluminium products up to 1.9 metres. The converted surface provides corrosion protection as well as enhancing the ability for subsequent processes such as painting, to bond to the surface.

Unlike Anodising, the conversion process retains the electrical conductivity of the aluminium and as such is frequently used for electrical components and equipment.

Our Chromate Conversion process is Military Spec compliant MIL-C-5541 Class 1A

We offer both the traditional yellow chromate conversion process Alodine 1200s as well Alodine 5992 that still meets all of the quality specifications of traditional conversion however with a less toxic and most importantly RoHS (European Directive 2002/95/EC) complaint conversion process.

3. Metal Work available;

  • Linishing and Polishing
  • Metal spinning

4. Water dip lacquer providing a more basic protective coating
